Vodafone Warriors chief executive Wayne Scurrah today confirmed Krisnan Inu had been granted a release from his contract to join the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.<br /> “The Bulldogs have sought an immediate release due to an injury crisis among their wingers,” he said.<br /> “While Krisnan still has the rest of this season and 2013 to run on his contract, we’ve agreed to let him go now.”<br /> Inu said he was looking forward to his new challenge after signing with the Bulldogs until the end of the 2015 season.<br /> “I appreciate what the Vodafone Warriors have done in letting me go now, giving me the chance to play NRL football,” he said.<br /> “I want to thank everyone at the club for what they’ve done for me. I’ve enjoyed my time here.”<br /> Scurrah said the Vodafone Warriors wouldn’t stand in Inu’s way.<br /> “Kris has made a big contribution to the club on and off the field and leaves with our best wishes for the future,” he said.<br /> Inu joined the Vodafone Warriors from Parramatta after the 2010 season.
