Times are tough when the Warriors podcasts haven't brought themselves to record this week yet. I feel your pain, I couldn't even consider listening to one until today.
Cause you spend too much time listening to the Waffle podcast? Haha.
Plenty of times in the past I have been pro dropping players. But based on our performances and injury list I would much rather keep it as is. If Capewell was fit I would push for a x factor backrower on the bench but that's...
That would also be a likely scenario. We do have a lot of minutes in the middle though. AFB, Walker, Tohu, Barnett and Jazz (if he was match fit) could all play 60 easy
I highly doubt Pompey will remain on the bench. I like a Barnett playing some backrow. Either Laban shares the role with him or Zyon comes on the bench for Pompey I would say.
Like watching a slow car crash at the moment. I keep clinging on to hope that we aren't far away but each week is making that hard to believe at the moment.
Losses are way harder to take when expectations are high
I think it depends on the teamlist and if it fits well with the squad. With Afoa and Laban and Maiu'u all being limited minute players (first grade) that would leave us too vulnerable. For this week's team list I think Ale is better suited on our bench.
Don't get me wrong I am a Zyon fan and was screaming for him to come on at the game for impact. When he did come on we did very little D so he wasn't really tested there. Not sure I would be willing to trade him Bunty or Ale in an already inexperienced pack.
Definitely not a thread for the knee jerk reactions. I think you will find majority of posts here are pretty reasonable comments without any panic. Will leave the erratic comments for the post match thread haha
