Not sure I can watch any of the other games this weekend after these three.
Everyone else is attacking at will and we are doing five up and an uncontested kick on repeat.
Certainly always optimistic!
But definitely not the case.
We haven't evolved from last year with the ball is the real truth, and we play too conservatively. The blueprint has been laid out how to defend us because we don't have any variation.
100% agree, Webby needs to show he can pivot.
He's a smart guy, that's why it's kind of odd that his game plan is so one dimensional.
Good coaches can pivot between games and pivot inter game when things aren't working.
It's not as though we are lacking experience, so such a inflexible game...
Noones allowed to say a word about sir Webster on here.
But this team is absolutely fucked, and the game plan is terrible.
Bring back Morgo the saviour.
SJ palmed Fafita into another dimension last year, he fell backwards like my 90yo nan falling over in the garden.
It was some of the softest defence I saw all year.
Now that is a jawline you could set your watch to.
Ivan, giving his approval, is a pretty good indicator for how highly he respects Webby if it wasn't already apparent.
It's all tied into one thing, attitude.
Missed tackles, errors, penalties.
Lack of attention to detail, boils down to not turning up with the right attitude.
You don't have to have many players turn up even a fraction off to lose an NRL game this season.
Will be interesting to see how they shuffle the deck.
Walker I guess allows Tofu to move prop, Barnett to move edge, Laban to bench for a break and possibly back on late depending on the balance of game.
Something of that description, as nothing else really lines up.
Yea sorry should have noted I meant in an ideal world. I don't feel after the year off he is probably ready to play week in week out at half for the whole season.
I think I mentioned it previously, but I would be more than happy injuries aside to have a combo of Metcalf and CHT post SJ.
A lot...
I feel CHT is the most rounded left edge player out of the three.
He unfortunately is too much of a Swiss army knife, so TMM is favoured so they can fit the best 17 on the field. Even though I feel CHT has the better left foot kick and right to left pass.
People that are throwing daggers at Roger aren't understanding that our sets are crafted to areas on the field for right edge plays.
The only play we really see is SJ jumping across for a line ball to Ford.
We simply don't shape sets to get to areas where the left edge can be given any nice...
