Round here 'Marquee' is Elijah Taylor...

He'll be a walk in for the squad. Future captain...

Be interesting to see if he would ever come back if Kearney talks to him. Theres some bad blood between the two which is why Matai opted for Samoa during the RLWC2013. We were short on specialist centres too...

Was that due to the fact Kearney overlooked him for last years Anzac test or does it go back to before then?

Thats the one. Kearney believed if the Kiwis were going to beat the Kangaroos it wouldnt be by much. Also said that Matai was a penalty magnet and therefore wasnt wanted...

We need him, desperately. I believe the kiwis need a team with mongrel, unpredictability and x factor. Id almost be inclined to add manu mau and matagi, men with big BALLS who say bring it on

Has Taumalolo declared his eligibility yet?Wouldn't surprise if Big Mal's been onto Thurston,Scott and the likes to get in his ear.

    Kiwis 2014.

    1.Roger Tuivasa Scheck
    2.Dean Whare
    3.Steve Matai
    4.Gerard Beale
    5.Manu Vatuvei
    6.Kieran Foran
    7.Shaun Johnson

    8.Jesse Bromwich
    9.Thomas Leuluai
    10.Jared Waerea Hargreaves
    11.Simon Mannering
    12.Sonny Bill Williams
    13.Jeremy Smith

    14.Frank Pritchard
    15.Ben Matulino
    16.Sam Moa
    17.Frank Paul Nuuausala/Justin Horo

Roger at the back he's ready for the big game pressure ,unlucky for Hoffman who I can't fit in my team, Whare to the wing with Beale in the centres

Steve Matai and Jeremy Smith return to add some real toughness and leadership

I'd go for a power forwards bench, constant yardage and impact from Moa and Mutts, Pritchard in good nick off the bench,Nuuausala or Horo to add some mongrel

Leuluai to go 80 minutes as the only specialist dummy half as long as he gains match fitness in the next few weeks his class and experience will get him through

I want to see a team minus six world cup players

Kiwi management are not allowed to name and shame the sleeping pillers
    due to legal reasons.

I would just leave the fookers out of this test all together.

The ANZAC test, is to me a non event, too short on preparation, and no real point. I'd be all for using it to blood young guys. Hell it's not like it would hurt our chances of winning it.

Moved to Australia when he was 14 does that count him out of SOO eligibility? Plus ive read he doesnt want to block the path of a true Qlder.

Id be leaning towards leaving Frankie out for this one and naming Horo but have just watched the Hoz and Foz story on Sterlo.

That’s a good one, aren’t they notorious for claiming anyone who visits the sunshine state as a true queenslander if they are any good at league?

I support the maroons too, it’s a lesser of two evils thing.

Eligibility is such a mess and so many can play for both countries they should just approach every vaguely kiwi player and ask “would you be proud to represent New Zealand in a test match against Australia” if the answer is yes, then that’s good enough. If they go the way of Aussie Jim Tamou, then fuck ‘em, plenty of others.

    Yeah, he's Tongan :p.

Oh you meant which of the 2 bigger nations will further erode the talent pool of our poorer Pacific nations. No word on that yet...
