My squad for this years Four Nations

First choice selections then potential replacements due to injury.

    1.Kahu - Lolo/DWZ/Fusitua
    2.Rapana - DWZ/Feki/Fusitua
    3.SKD - Beale/Simona
    4.Rona - Beale/Simona
    5.Nightingale - DWZ/Feki/Fusitua
    6. Leuleuai - Martin/Nikorima/Higano/Lino
    7. SJ - Martin/Nikorima/Higano/Lino
    8. Bromich
    9.Luke - Nikorima/Levi/Cherrington
    10.Moa
    11. Harris
    12. Proctor
    13. Mannering

    14. Matulino - Solomona/JWH/Liu
    15. Taumalolo - Taukeiaho/Fischer Harris/Tapine/Glenn/K Bromich
    16. Taupau - Taukeiaho/ Fischer Harris/ Tapine/Glenn/K Bromich
    17. Eastwood- Blair/Fischer Harris/ Tapine/Glenn/ K Bromich
    18. Nikorima

    19.Taukeiaho
    20.Martin
    21.Fischer Harris
    22.Simona
    23.Blair

Rapana is going to be the nightingale of the next decade, he has developed so well and needs a genuine shot at starting winger this four nations.

Rona has been fantastic at centre, want to see him there on tour if he doesnt go to union, otherwise would love simona to get a shot.

Leuleuai and SJ to help win this four nations is critical. but we need another young half to go on tour and experience, that spot is for either Martin or Higano. Im saying Martin.

Second row is insane but needs variety, hard to select a balance of power, experience, offensive ability, and defensive solidity.

Looking forward to selections but i must say ive lost trust in kearneys selections of late, hope its sorted for this tour.

The Kiwis have now lost three of their four last test matches. This can be attributed to a lot of injuries to key players but I think some of the blame has to be placed on Kearney and his insistence on playing players out of position, Hiku, Brown and K Bromwich etc.

That's why I think this tournament is important in helping the Kiwis build momentum towards next years world Cup. Hopefully Kearney will stop selecting players out of positions for the tournament allowing the Kiwis to win the Four Nations.

Apparently there was wider squad of Four Nations hopefuls gathered together by Kiwis coach Stephen Kearney in Sydney earlier this month. Anyone know who was invited?

If te maire isnt available. I would take Higano on this tour. Nikorima isnt a 6. my first option is tommy at 6 then martin then higano.

    6 Again 1st Grade Fringe

    1. Kahu
    2. Rapana
    3. SKD
    4. Ma'u
    5. Fusitua
    6. Martin
    7. Johnson
    8. Bromwich
    9. Luke
    10. Blair
    11. Proctor
    12. Mannering
    13. Taumalolo

    14. Leuluai
    15. JWH
    16. NAS
    17. Taupau

Notably I've got Manu Ma'u in at center, I thought he was good there filling in for Parra.

Te Maire Martin because I'm tired of us using makeshift halves, we'd have Leuluai as back up off the bench if needed.

probably getting ahead of myself with NAS when we have guys like Eastwood/Kasiano/Moa around but hey it wouldn't be a Kiwi's side if someone wasn't making his debut.

do you think that they will push a martin or higano this four nations as opposed to tommy at 6 in order to blood these guys potentially for world cup if Kieran doesnt come through?

I would play Leuluai against Australia and England and have TMM against Scotland.

But as we know, Kearney would probably play Harris at 6 before TMM or Hingano

If Kearney wants to give the Kiwis the best shot at winning the World Cup next year he has to give opportunities to the likes of TMM, Levi and Cherrington in my opinion.

We can't go into next year's World Cup having the likes of Harris, K Bromwich and Brown as back ups for 6 and 9.

We are starting to develop depth in the spine positions. Kearney has to start using and trusting that depth in my opinion.

Yeah definitely. You cant leave it till next year. I say against scotland you go

    6. Martin
    7.Higano
    9.Levi
    11. Fischer Harris
    14. Cherrington.

Nearly every future kiwi should be playing in that game against scotland.

i think 2 of those should even be playing in the perth game against the kangaroos off the bench somewhere.

That England forward pack is going to be hard and sharp.
Whitehead and Hodgson are two of Canberras best
Add Sam Burgess , the twins , Hardacker and the best playing ESL.
    They should go well.
