Pair him with Shaq O'Neal, that would be a Monster forward Pack.

Nah. Sign a local, Valerie Adams. 6ft 5 120kgs. She can take over from Kata. He can't pass. Its like the ball is to heavy for him. She throws heavy things. Sorted!

Fuck yes! we got Blair with Vete/Gavet compliment we got Mannering/Harris with Thompson/Pulu/Lisone compliment we got Beale/Hiku/Kata throw in Luke/RTS/SJ and I can smell what the Warriors are cooking, we are getting KIWI pros to show the brothers how it's done not Aussies yelling at them, man I wrote the Warriors off at the start of 2017 and rightfully so, they went shit because they hadn't recruited, now they have scrapped the DEADwood and recruiting smartly, I am on board for 2018 and say right now if we put that starting line up out there we will make finals footy no matter who is coaching! and as an aside out ISP team will win the finals NO PROBLEMS put all your salary on and enjoy Christmas on the Warriors they fucken owe us!

As a warriors fan since 1995 I had the worst season this year as my hopes were high but the team played crap. I thought 2018 was a write-off but we seem to be recruiting well. Blair, Harris and Beale were all in the finals this year.

I need the Warriors to be win the comp in my lifetime!!

You idiots are grasping at straws now, if anyone's gonna replace Kata it's Meyt Turei (claims to be currently unemployed)

Guessing with our people signing Beale , Hiku and with JTS still in a decision.

Ayshford becomes an ISP depth player or puts on about 7kgs of bulk to become a 2nd rower.

    Yeah man I hear you
Now I agree Blake aint game breaker material but he is solid which is what we need.

I would def see if he would bulk up go 2nd row / emergency back AKA old Skool Mannering.

Big Ken back in the 2nd Row also.
Gerard and Peta in the centres with Fus and CNK winging it.

    Or is Peta number 6?
    Not saying that's good
    Just saying

Straight up - If I see Ayshford playing reserve grade with either Maumalo or Kata in the backs for the top grade side I'll personally stand underneath the Eastern stand waiting for a chance to spit on Kearney

Kata has ticker, I guess it is up to him and how SK wants to use him, but at centre it isn't, end of story.

In retrospect, the worst news I've ever read on this forum.

Green is a tremendous get if he is coming, really hope we can nab another forward or two. If we can get either Paulo or the rumoured Panther, our squad is starting to look pretty fair. As it is currently, all of our new backs and half will struggle behind zero go forward.

Why does it have to be one or the other? We have plenty of cap space, look whats gone out the door

Please note these are really rough estimates

    Manu 700k
    Lilyman 500k
    Matalino 500k
    Foran 600k
    Lolohea 300k
Thomson 300k minus child support payments
    Hoffman 600k

Thats 3.5mil right there, add in the salary cap increases and take off what we have signed

    Blair 600k
    Pulu 200k
    Beale 350k
    Harris 600k
    Hiku 200k

And I would say we still have a lot of money to play with

Also upgrades on a few contracts, although I can't imagine many of those contracts except maybe SJ being huge upgrades.

What would Green be on here, $500k for 3 years?

I don't know about this, Hingano will be asking for a release pretty quickly. Ideally he fights on, and gets 10 games as an injury back up next season. Also 3 years on a guy who's 31.. Halves seem to fade pretty quick compared to forwards.

I'd love to get both but just how much do we have to work with now that Johnson is on 1m a year?
