you guys dont get it, he isnt a real prop, we are getting him for his 1%ers and his attitude and his kick pressure, he also knows how to speak process so he can translate that for the rest of the team.

3 years for 1.6 is a good deal. Now sign Maguire as Coach, Kearney can be his assistant and wipe his ass.

Yeah I would take Blair 1 year at a time given contracts don't really mean shit these days.
I don't mind his signing considering what is currently out there and what he brings in terms of leadership.
Graham would have been icing on the cake. Should have also thought about going after Sam Kasiano :p
I feel our forward pack is one big bodied forward short, similar to those two.

Blair is a great addition to our club. He's the kind of player who goes long in his career with the way he takes care of his body. Think Brad thorn, Wiki etc...

We've been crying out for more 80 minutes pros who do the 1%s along side Mannering. We've got one now.

And his contract isn't too big. The way the salary cap is growing 600k won't be huge money in 4 years time... And he's sure as worth that for us in 2018.

Blair missed a crucial tackle on Cordner in last weeks final that led directly to a try. He then proceeded to throw his hands up and stare daggers at his nearest team mate as if it was their fault.

Compare that to Mannering, who would be cursing himself for a missed tackle, not someone else entirely.

Worst attitude to be bringing here

They showed on 360 is was Thaiday's fault, the gaping hole Cordner ran through wouldn't have been there if Thaiday hadn't shot out of the line, hence the dirty look from Blair.

Expecting more from the players around you is exactly the attitude we need him to bring, I want to see him get up these bastards.

Blair got his hands on him but just fell off

    Piss weak from the captain

If he really wanted to make that tackle, he would've dived at his legs.

Go back and look at the video, if Thaiday held the line it would've been his tackle not Blairs.

With the Kiwi captain arriving will RTS lose the captaincy? Does he still want it? Wil we get Broncos Blair or Tigers Blair, will he do a Luke? 4yrs WTF?

They were talking about Blair and his contract negotiations being a possible cause for his bad form. They showed two clips of him making errors and missing that tackle.

Thaiday was re-signed well before this. The title clearly says "contract negotiations".

They're referring to Blair and showing his errors.

Edit - "player movement" I should say. Not contract negotiations.

If Thaiday doesn't rush out of the line, Blair can just slide and make the tackle easily with thaiday turning his right shoulder in aswell. Dumb play from Thaiday.

Yeah mate, they wouldn't have shown this one because it doesn't hold their story together.

Terrible example. That was not blairs tackle, that was Thaiday being exposed, rushing out of the line rather than staying connected and flying at the defender without the ball, leaving a gaping hole between Blair and Thaiday for cordner to isolate. Cordner is a handy player remember, and this was clearly Thaidays issue not blairs.

Nothing to mention about his try saver on Liu a few highlights before?

    Ok that's fair enough.

But people are ignoring the fact that he COULD'VE made the tackle?

    Instead it's solely "Thaiday's tackle".

Couldn't the captain have dived at his legs in desperation?

    That's what I find a bit annoying.

Yep, I agree with your point, he could've done better, I think the media singling him out is probably unfair given how poor the Broncos were to a man.

No doubt in my mind the contract situation is having an impact on Blairs recent performances, he's been up and down, poor against Parra, very good against the Cows etc.

I'm thinking he should just come out and tell his teammates and get it out there.

A good player goes through that gap 9 times out of 10... And cordner is a very good player with a strong fend.

Maybe Thiaday was showing his buddy what defending at the warriors will be like.;)

Either that or both players were under heavy fatigue and the line eventually cracked. That's usually why the Kiwis captain and a retiring Kangaroos legend allow trys like that through...

As for the dagger stair, I'm guessing AB didn't feel like giving Sam a friendly pat on the ass in that moment.

Totally agree, he could of probably should have made the tackle and if it was
Probably could have and should have made the tackle and if it was Thompson, Mannering etc probably would have BUT Cordner is a beast who needs shutting down early otherwise he'll ahem run through you.
