No change warriors
Sideways attack is more like it.
If you want the winning recipe here it is:
Run straight and force the defense back. Then look for any holes and send the ball thataway... If there are no holes keeps smashing until holes appear. Repeat until you win the grand final.
It's that fucken simple.
This team struggles with step 1, noone bends the line
We rely on Johnson way too much. It's not his fault our attack is stifled.
Kata is quality but defences seem to have no issue shutting him down now.
The one time we had a forward pass to a forward Lillyman went through the hole and had his hands free with no support.
Watching the game tonight against the Dogs was unsuprising to say the least.Im sorry but our plays are same same and our defence broke down once more.It just seems like our opposing coaches have us covered through videos. Our only saviour once again was SJ
Our whole team is way better than that. But the emotion is all wrong.
It's like they're all butt hurt about somethin out there in the middle, in front of thousands, with cameras rolling, with not concept of the humiliation they are creating...
looking forward to one of these threads every week.
Dropped ball Warriors
lack of effort Warriors
No line speed Warriors.
Should be informative.
His attacking play is same same week to week.God pass the fucken ball
They're dumb. I'm not saying they lack intelligence but they have almost zero football smarts.
Anticipation isn't an accident, it's because a player is smart enough to see the play unfolding.
The amount of times we had players standing around because it wasn't their turn to do something was criminal.
They are too dumb to win. Just too damn dumb.
Not a lot to say... very very disappointing performance. Slow, bemused, no creativity, one out play, no offloads, try to run through 3 defenders every time, no support play, average line speed at best...
Why oh why is Simon involved in every set of 6, sometimes more than once...where re the others??
Where was Erin Clark? Luke, Lolo and Kata dismal games.
After watching wooden spooners Newcastle the Warriirs should look at thèir support plays this year and be disgusted where they sit now
Only round 3 guys and we have at least won one. I think we are on the up.....
I posted about Kata needing to add to his game , or he will become predictable.
Looks like it is starting to happen.
Yes we do rely on SJ too much , just like the Knights and Joey.
Difference is , they won with Joey.lol
Go sit in the corner. Venting in progress.
Need a fleet footed wing ( Holmes , Ross , Addo-Carr style ) and centre ( Jennings , Peachy , Roberts , Jessie Manu , Brian Kelly style ) to compliment the skill and power of Fus and our power wing which i think should be Kata.
That spark and energy will help our halves so much.
Then there is our pack besides the obvious week in week out blood sweat and tear brothers.
Could you imagine Kata diffusing or catching bombs on the wing? Fuck na.
We need some PACE for sure. Maumalo isn't a winger, and Manu is pretty much guaranteed to be past it. Who's coming through? Pretty much no one.
Our Props need some fend/off load ability, our pack must be in the bottom 5 of the comp. Hard to get the backs busting the line when their getting put on their arse every tackle.
Players running the ball had no one to pass to, everyone just standing back, its school boy stuff, i said from the start kearneys a dunce and im being proven right
The word Dumb pretty much encapsulates that performance, to somehow end up 2 in front to then starting our next set after points by pushing passes that led to an error inside our own 40 is well ... dumb, they became a rabble in defence after that and you felt the dogs were always going to score.
We clearly missed RTS in attack, he provides SJ that additional option out the back with his decisive runs into the line along with his passing game. I suspect an on song attacking Warriors side would've put a stack of points on the dogs today. I expect a better display in attack against the Dragons provided RTS and Foran are both cleared to play.
Des did a number on SJ this week, clearly part of the game plan was cutting down his time on the ball, yet another reason to get Foran and RTS in asap to give us more options on attack, were so predictable at the moment it ain't funny.
I think you'll find Kearney's the defensive coach.
