You can get Foxtel for $39 a month.

Have to remember that somebody has to film the games and pay the commentators/hosts, so the barriers to entry are quite high.

Went through a stage of watching the games at the gym when I was working away from home, added bonus was I was usually too tired to care if we lost

Yeah, but it will happen, the cost to produce shows and by rights to TV series is high yet Netflix and Prime can do it for $10 a month.

If somebody could get the rights to Union, AFL, NRL and Cricket I think there could be money in it. Overseas companies charge $90 a year and that includes a lot more sports than those 4. I do get your point, but it will happen one day.

Id like to see it pay per view, Sky tried that but failed. I fly to see a lot of games so my costs are already high. Id appreciate only paying $5 now and then to watch a game.

The going to the Pub idea is actually a good one, except Im really ill at the moment.

And for a lot of people $40 a month is a LOT of money, to others its a couple of coffees a week.

Well doesnt sound like I have many options for watching on my notebook/tv outside Fox which I just dumped. The NRL one is cheap if you have an android or iphone isnt it?

Just having the streaming version of Foxtel is cheaper than having the box if your getting it just for the sport

Cheap ways to watch the Warriors. Not illegal ways to watch the Warriors...

All I can say is the quality of "illegal" streams have improved greatly since fiber optics came to my house ;)

Watching the Tits v Pamfers on one right now TBH

Call me cheap ... Call me a crook ... I really don't give a fuck

I'm old enough to remember when all sport was live to air on free TV ... so the real crooks as far as I'm concerned are the Pay TV companies

I've said it before & I'll say it again ... SKY TV & Pay TV in general can kiss my brown hairy ass :finger:

To balance it out though I do pay for Netflix who are pretty reasonable with their prices

Just bare in mind that $1 billion broadcasting deals have to be paid for somehow.

Don't really care other than the fact that it can get this forum in trouble...

Yeah I totally get that bro & I reiterate that I'll happily delete that prior post myself if it could get the forum in trouble

I'm just standing on a point of principal is all ... If Sky offered a better value for money service I'd happily pay for it

    But they don't IMO so I don't

In Asia I found Satanta sometimes plays it if you can get access
Otherwise the nrl app I think works outside of the pacific (well South Pacific:p)
