I see him as a Bench option for 2nd row using his speed and power against the slower players in the middle to create half gaps and offloads in shortish minutes. He has a good attitude which should see him able to defend OK with a preseason training there. The bonus is his versatility in covering out wide in case of injury.

He just isn't a winger. He is not good in the air, has terrible hands, slow reactions. All he has going for him is his size and his hit ups which he can make off the bench as a forward. If Kearney continues to play him on the wing then he really has learnt nothing this year. The amount of tries the bloke lets in is unforgivable.

Would be interesting to see where Maumalo himself actually wants to play.
From the outside it looks like the club kinda threw a second rower on the wing to try and recreate Manu, can’t blame Maumalo in that situation.
I have no problem with Maumalo as an athlete he’s just not a winger which is painfully obvious and I’d like to think we have far better options now

I thought so until Angus Crighton put him on his arse in the Souths game. He is no Brent Todd who would have leaped straight to his feet, played the ball and then taken the next carry to Crighton again. Ken isn't a forward either.

In what minute will Big Ken spill a bomb, leading to a try?

    I've got 26 min.

First bomb he tries to handle , then he will be solid rest of the match.

SJ's on Fire Warriors Bench Player

5 Minutes to go, the boys are up by 2. It's tackle 5, the rabbits are in our 20. Greg Inglis snaps at the field goal, rebounds of the post and big Kenny M goes for it. Goes straight through the bread basket and Alex Johnston scores in the corner :banghead:

8th minute. SJ bombs to manu err Maumalo. Goes through his hands but amazingly travels backwards. Kata picks up the spill and draws in cover and passes inside to RTS to score.

Yeah who am i kidding. Kata would never pass.

    Ken drops nothing in Perth....

Entirely inspired by a strong desire to give the Foum a fk u from Ken.

Every other round he kills off his career by dropping it every game.

    Depends.
    Two possible scenarios.

    Drops cold under minimal pressure.
Drops with plenty of heat on him and players challenging for the ball.

5th minute; OR has a one off amazing game that leads to Kearney picking him for the foreseeable future

Ken’s one of the players I’m least worried about.

No Shit. He’s gonna be solid this year

We're not exactly sure he did drop it. Refs called it from 50m away and we never got a replay which is always suspect
