Watched good game good on the knights, not liking the double standard reffing.
Our boys making errors at crucial times Tomkins throwing the intercept and dropping the ball. S.J passing to nobody, Manu dropping it.
Camt afford another game like this everygame should be played like its sudden death from now on.

Not a game I was really expecting to win tbh, but still should of. As the commentators said, Newcastle are a team no one playing for the eight would want to play at the moment.

Hmm, poor start, repair the start during origin, have a win streak, crash and burn when it is all on the line. Hasn't happened yet, but this season is no different to the Warriors pattern as it currently stands. One of either the Roosters at home or Panthers away is a tall order. Still think we will get one of them though

Was an excellent game. We still have no go forward bar Manu and Lillyman?

    Inruin Walk Them Out

    Lousi and Tomkins = outstanding
Honourable mentions to Mannering and Manu
Missing persons report sent out for Matulino - Have you seen this man?
SJ and his no look passes can go fuck themselves
    Mateo = fuckwit

Can anyone see what Neilson brings to the centre position now?

Can anyone see how good Friend is now?

It's a lot easier when you have some direct comparisons available in TL and Benry.

Knights outplayed us plain and simple.

Are the Warriors any better than this time last season or do they not like this coach now either?

I actually think our attack is going to be the issue from now on. Teams have worked out Cappy's sweeping backline move that injects Tomkins and it definitely doesn't work well without Konrad. The Mannering cut back has been read and defended well the last couple of weeks too. Also haven't seen the big set plays we were expecting since the Manu scrum try weeks back. Still think this is the best we have defended for years though. Even after conceding 28 tonight

They did the same as the Sharks last week against us, offload left right and centre. Apparently Warriors can't shutdown offloads.

it's been years since I wailed on about refs, but my fucking god those guys did my head in this afternoon...

Mannering: "What's the difference between this tackle that you're penalising, and the one on Mateo before?
Ref: "I'm calling this one a penalty."

Time and again, Newcastle's second marker had his damned left hand resting on the front marker's right shoulder - how the flying fuck did none of those get called as not being square?

And what in the name of Thor's codpiece was up with calling a tackle 'held'? Sometimes it was barely a second after contact was made, and other tackles dragged on so long they were almost a mini-series.

That freaken obstruction call that seemed to come out of nowhere but the ref's ringpiece, and then right at the end, there should have been a penalty on the tackle as full time sounded, but the cock just called game over.

I know we fucked it up, but as Nathan Fien pointed out, the Warriors were playing a 13 on 14 man game.

    **************
And I don't think having Lulu starting worked at all. We looked so much better with Friend, and here I've been criticising him for the bulk of the season.

Looked like they were still stuck in the second half from last week against Cronulla, absolutely nowhere near premiership material.

It's the same problem the Warriors have been struggling with for years now...

"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."

I'm quoting from the Bible, that's how shit 4 of the last 5 games have been...

Just listen to the NZ Sky sports team muppets before each game and the pride in their speech is ridiculous. Then after we lose it's shock and confusion...

I thought our spine was absolute shite.

The right side was absolute shite in d.

I have never noticed before how lazy Fusitua is off the ball.

And going off today's performance friend is the number 1 hooker.

This game reinforced why I've always hated Benry at center- got schooled so bad on the right that they had to switch him to the left then he got burnt there too.
Unfortunately we don't have many options with Hurrell out- he can't come back soon enough.
Thought we missed sebs enthusiasm too- especially noticeable in our line speed- or lack there of.
Home town reffing at its best- storm got the same treatment in Newcastle last week.

It shouldn't be a surprise that we lost. We were missing our two best centers in Hurrell and Nielsen... If those two are out there the Knights don't get the roll on down our edges and we hold them to 10 points...
