Quite disappointing to concede that last try, but quite a good steamrolling performance.

Eden Park Monkey off the back the main thing.

    MOM - Ben Henry.

A lot of the lads played out of their skins today but victories like this are built on the one percenters, Henry does it for 80 minutes.

    We've found a centre.

Shaun Johnson totally dominated this game. He's the MVP with room to breathe.
We looked even better when Townsend faded into the background to allow Tomkins to take the second playmaker role. Six probably looked our weakest link today, along with Manu's hands for the most part.
We were very efficient and professional, Canberra were absolutely terrible. An expected and required dominant display. Now to back it up next week..

A win after a bye after a win against Melbourne - normally we'd have been a disappointment and a half, but we fucken ruled.
Liked that both Mannering and Friend were given bench time.

MoM... all of the Warriors except for Mateo. He's just taking up space that a real second rower could use. Don't even wait till the end of the season, cut him loose tomorrow.

Without getting too carried away with the scoreline...... Standard procedure guys! If we're as good as we think/say we are, then these are the teams we should be blowin off the park....job done... next plz!

Now..... getting carried away...... Eden Park hoodoo off the back, coming off the bye performance off the back, 100% conversion rate from SJ, Koni said suck this! Top 8 here we cum!

Is it too early to start talking about keeping Cappy on after this year? He's making all the right noises and we haven't had a truly bad game under him. Not to mention he took us to a 42 POINT WIN at EDEN PARK after THE DREADED BYE.

Watch management sign Sheens this week and the team completely give up for the rest of the year =/

What a great performance, some laxness in the last 10 minutes aside.

Tomkins and Johnson are phenomenal. That's probably the best combination in the game right now. Absolutely incredible based off that performance. That tip on was a thing of beauty.

Hurrell was monstrous. Forwards were brilliant too, Bukuya, Matagi and Lillyman especially. Mannering at lock is what we've been crying out for. Ikahihifo is a star. Lousi can be a real weapon if utilized right too.

Not perfect though. Mateo was awful. Get him out. Seb/Lousi/Henry are head and shoulders above him in the pecking order right now, surely. Henry is great but that left edge still looks a bit sus because Manu comes inside too much. We were lucky on two or three occasions, I thought the Laumape/Vatuvei switching worked far better as a defensive solution there.

Locke was poor at dummy half I thought, slow delivery. Also, when Friend went off I noticed that the Raiders suddenly had a lot more space to work with. Really says something for his defensive effort. Hopefully Locke to hooker was just an experiment and next time we see him he's either an outside back or fullback.

Chad was on and off. A few really nice touches and kicks and he showed some great composure, did his job well for the most part, but he had a couple of shockers too. Wouldn't be surprised to see Tomkins to 6 and Locke to 1 in the future, but I feel that's relying on Johnson's boot too much - unless Leuluai is at 9.

Finally, hats off to McFadden. If this kind of steel becomes consistent, we're going to be a real force to be reckoned with. He seems to have been the missing ingredient, getting us playing typical Warriorball + structures and a clinical edge. Could turn out really special.

Tough on Havili too see Locke get real game time at hooker, a guy who has never played there and will be gone at seasons end.

Bit of an odd one imo.

But fantastic game, everyone had fantastic games really. Guys like Manu and Tomkins having average first half's and amazing 2nd half's, awesome to see.

    3. Tomkins ( Left and right edge threat is rare in a Warriors game....it's one or the other never both on fire had Manu not cramped his style Tomkins would have got DallyM points from the 'Manu' Try's that weren't )
    2. Johnson....that's his type game.....give him a Tomkins to take the pressure off and Johnson is special
    1. Ikahihifo.....we need you to hold your Jersey........hon mention Sione Lousi....we need you to hold a spot ahead of Martel as well

How good was that!! So refreshing seeing intelligent defence, henry was outstanding shutting them down.
MOM was Johnson... Was oozing confidence

    Hurrell- no words
Tomkin's and henry were just class.

I heard matai has been tabled a 4 year deal worth $2.5...I'm assuming its the warriors? After that I'm not sure we need him with henry an Hurrell playing so well

As good as laumape has been playing I can't see a spot for him with Fusitua and fish soon to be back.
Some selection headaches for AM with the wing and TL coming back in a few weeks
