Didn't see the game but Knights must have given the Storm a little fright.

Was a really good game. Knights refused to go away, but it always felt like the Storm were just that one step ahead of them. Knights got back in within a try more than once just to have the Storm kick away again.

About a montha go we were rumoured to be talking with Eels winger Bureta Faraimo. He's playing today on the wing for anyone interested in having a look. Scored the opening try after 4 minutes.

Robson is playing well for the Eels.

All halves look better when they get to play both sides of the field. Good halves go to where the opportunities are, they don't stand on one side and wait for opportunities to open up where they happen to be standing. Robson is limited in a lot of areas, but he's not a dumb player.

Of course the Eels forward pack are absolutely monstering the Panthers and the Panthers are playing so dumb with the ball in hand, which always help.

After losing last night a loss for one of the teams also fighting for the bottom of the 8 like us would be useful. The Eels are helping as the moment dominating the Panthers.

A bit early in the season to be depending on other results but the season is one big puzzle. A few results going our way now still help.

Titans/Panthers coming up over the next 3 weeks. Absolute must win games, and if we can gain two points while taking it away from two of our closest rivals we'll go a long way to securing our spot.

Not that he would have cost much but how do the Eels sign Robson when theyre apparently over the cap???

Sorry guys I shouldn't have opened my mouth about the Eels doing us a favour beating the Panthers. Now the Panthers are making a comeback.

    I'll give myself an uppercut.

One of the criteria the Eels had to start doing before they could earn any points again was that they had to get themselves under the salary cap. They have done a massive roster clean out to do that, the big one was getting watmough to retire. Nathan Peats being transferred to the Titans , Ryan Morgan to The Storm and a couple other transfers.
The club is a basket case at the moment with the amount of shit thats going on there but they continue to show the kind of Kaha that wouldn't go astray at the Warriors.

I hope the Warriors have stopped talking to Bureta Faraimo, I think he's ranked #5 in the Eels player stocks. Only playing today because of a big injury toll.

For what it's worth, Eels forwards no longer dominating and Robson's game has regressed to what we've come to expect. Further proof about how much difference a proper forward pack makes.

That says alot about our forward pack then doesn't it. On current form the Warriors would be hard pressed to beat the Eels. Currently depleted because of injury but will have a few back by the time they play us.
