For the first time in months I am quiet relaxed about the team naming today.

Even with Ayshford on the bench and Luke being injured.

I just hope that doesn't change at 5pm tonight :).

Just hope Tui's been on kicking practice this week. We really need to make a good impact on our P/D.

My latest NRL Predictor attempt had the Warriors at 7, meeting the Cowboys in Townsville. May as well practice for that by beating them next weekend, eh?

We can beat the cows. Only lost to them by 4 last year up in Townsville and we're playing better now than we were back then.

Saturday night clash against the Rabbitohs

Head coach Andrew McFadden has been able to name an unchanged squad for Saturday night's clash against South Sydney at Mt Smart Stadium (7.30pm kick-off; match day sponsor: Suzuki).

The side again features Jazz Tevaga as the starting hooker – in for the injured Issac Luke – with Nathaniel Roache listed to come off the bench as he did in Sunday’s 24-14 win over Gold Coast in Robina.

The 20-year-old 2016 rookies had 40 minutes each on the field against the Titans, making a combined total of 59 tackles with no misses and no ineffective tackles.

I must admit I would like to see bunty get the nod over Asyford. But you know if he does, we will lose a Center in the first 5mins of the game haha.

    Cursed I tell you!!

That is a pleasing stat. Can somebody remind me the last time we had rookies tackling like that (with the exception of Simon Mannering that is).

Leaving Bunty out means we have a very good team. You can only select 17 players.

yeah I'd like to see Bunty in. If someone did go down, Bodene would probably have more impact than Blake at centre anyway.

The thought of Fus or Kata going down now though... That's some scary shit

He was a replacement wasn't he? He did a fair job though but his place is in the forwards. That line break last week was something to behold for such a young guy. Take an ounce of effort out of the tackle and he will be through, just gotta love a young guy like that.

Kept an eye on Jazz at the game last week and he's one tough hombre.
That try saver on a rampaging Konnie was special.
Could well be a revelation with these 2 in tandem while Luke's out.

He also got nailed after that break and in the corner of the screen you could see his arm and leg having a spasm of some kind.

I think he came back on. Can't remember. Tough kid though.

Good to see a stable side; especially coming into the business end of the season.

I'd like to see a late change with Afoa coming in for Ayshford to give us some more grunt up front. But that is only 1 spot out of the 17 so a nice situation to be in.

Yes he did get nailed and they took him off for a concussion test. I thought we missed him when he was off. Not to criticise Jazz, but Roache adds spark on attack.
