Late thread. Didnt realise a game was on tonight. Looks like Adam Elliott got off scot free from the Issac Luke spear tackle. He just copped one on the chin...
Dogs are so boring to watch.
Why does Foran want to go to the dogs again..... They are the living definition of shite. They're also losing part of their pack now, the only thing they had going for them.
They really make the Warriors look good. Des Hasler must be pleased he has a new contract. Did somebody call him a super coach once?
What did everyone think of that last penalty? Not sure if it's just because I wanted the dogs to win but I thought it was a tough call- decided the game too.
Des is looking at not being in the top 8 for the 1st time in a very long time, 2 GF appearances in his tenure for the doggies so far and looking at one hell of a roster for next year, send those crying dog forumers over at the kennel a box of tissues.
Fuck I wish we could get such a shit Coach
The defender had his hand on the ball. There's no way that didn't influence the 'lose carry'. Also, parra should have gotten a penalty on the previous play anyway for laying in the tackle for ages. On another note, dogs waste so much time trying to milk penalties they ruin thier own momentum. Lame tactics.
That last penalty wasn't a penalty but agree with the rest. Dogs are masters at killing whatever little momentum they can get.
They're the slowest team in the comp easily. I can just imagine a family of sloths sitting around the TV impatiently because things aren't moving fast enough when the Dogs are playing.
There's a hand on the ball in every tackle- didn't looked stripped to me but I agree with the rest- actually thought Adam Elliot could've been penalized twice in that set- he's become one of my most disliked players (how did he get away with that shit on Luke?) glad we didn't sign him.
He's a peeler anyway.
The Dogs halves looked devoid of options on attack, they're such a forward dominant team and their attack looks forward-centric because of it, shovel the ball onto a forward and see if they can't break the line seems to be their mantra.
They ran zero shape at the Eels last night and the Eels players just had to turn up and make their tackles. There's plenty of strong personalities in that Dogs pack and I wonder if that's made it difficult for the halves to find their voice, Foran has a strong presence but he'll have his work cut out getting that motley Crew all pulling together towards the same goal.
I thought so too. So much for a decent forward pack making the difference.
It's at that time of the season again when I'm death riding all the sides we're competing with for a spot in the 8 and the titans done us a real favor knocking off the dragons.
Best game konnies had for us in a while.
Yes the Titians win is a good result for us tonight but we need to win tomorrow to make it count.
WTF was Gareth Widdop doing with that short line dropout? Talk about a brain fart.
Melbourne Storm soooooooo Good against Broncos
Almost certs to win the GF this year I reckon
Warriors need some Fijian wingers like Storm lol
Broncos guilty of trying to go around the Storm.
If that time is correct the Warriors clash with the All Blacks. Nice one. What brilliant programming.
Clinical performance from Storm. Every single play has a purpose.
