I didn't watch all of last nights game. But just before half time was interesting. The Bulldogs were happy to shut up shop and play for half time. The Broncos still felt there was time to play some footy and scored a nice try with some good passing exchanges.

It looks like they ran riot in the second half. Looking at a report this morning there was a long stretch where the Bulldogs didn't even get the ball.

Jackson or reynolds kicked it dead, then they literally didn't see the ball for 10+ minutes. Broncos young props are the goods.

    Holy shit fuck !

How did that dude not get sent off after that high shot on Slater ?

Melbourne Storm with both Slater and Smith out in this game, can Canberra go to win ? ... :nailbiting:

SBW should have stayed playing league.

What a difference between union and league in criteria for being sent off.

Soliola will be out for at least 4 weeks but Melbourne gain virtually nothing from it. Hope the filthy Raiders lose this, it would help our faint finals hopes I guess.

At least they're consistent. No such thing as a sendoff anymore.

Sure was a nasty late hit by Sia Soliola
Maybe he is the type of guy the Warriors need

I think Konnie Hurrell was the last warrior to strike fear into the opposition.

If it were a Warriors player.
He would of been sent off with 10 weeks minimum waiting.
And the closest Warrior would of got 10 for fun.
And our captain 10 for trying to make a case out of it.

Good lord, look at slaters neck in the second photo ^ he could have ended his career.

They'll probably give him 2 weeks cos he slipped. Joke of a comp, Charlie Gubb got 7 weeks never forget.

    Probably.

Wrong thread, but if you squint your eyes can say they have cut the errors and have some decent shape in attack.

The cowboys (missing Thurston) aren’t any different game plan wise, lots of outside back carries, bomb on the last, set up for the fullback out the back play, don’t offload in your own half, or hardly at all really.

Our forwards (bar Gavet) still can’t bend a sheet of tin foil though and the defence can cope with the standard stuff, but anything that takes them by surprise like a half running or a late offload it falls apart.
