Had to laugh when Ali Williams got caught out a few weeks back. Full of apologies, I made a mistake, At the time I said to the wife,The only thing he was sorry for,was that he got caught out.
Surely these clowns Bromwich and Procter had heard about what happens with Williams. Just shows how dumb they are.

I think this three strike policy is in place to protect the game and enable them to sweep incidents under the carpet when necessary. If they were to change to a zero tolerance policy by suspending players, lets say for 12 months upon a first offence, we may see 40-50 players suspended in a calendar year. It would also be interesting to know how the NRL tests these players; is it blood samples, urine samples, and can they test hair follicles which seem to carry traces for up to ninety days.

I have to say, rugby league is full of absolute morons with very low IQ, of course not all of them but a lot more than other codes. Some players learn and rectify their behaviour, but too many do not and I don't think its the games responsibility to continually rehabilitate them and allow them opportunities to come back and live the same lifestyle and earn the same money because they are harming the opportunities of future generations of doing the same.

That is bullshit. There are morons playing in all contact sports. The thing with rugby union is that in England they speak with an upper class accent.

Also am I the only one to have read that the snorting was done outside a gay nightclub?

Of course there are idiots everywhere, but rugby league has a lot more issues with player behaviour, that was my point. Btw where did you see that it was done outside a gay club?

League has always been the lower socio economic working class game. I am proud of that. That means the boys from the wrong side of the tracks will gravitate
to the game. I don't think there is any evidence to suggest that league players are worse than anybody else though.

To recollect. Kevin and Jessie have admitted to being very drunk, in a blur. But, do not deny snorting coke outside a gay nightclub. So, one presumes the snorting of the coke outside the gay nightclub wasn't a coincidence. Now, in a drunken blur and without a care in the world they stride into the gay bar. Two huge cut specimens in tight pants lurking about in a dimly lit gay bar under the influence of drugs and alcohol to the extent they didn't know what they were doing, by their own admission. Now that is dodgy.

The gay thing is only interesting in the fact it doesn't seem a normal haunt for these guys. It is a strange story for sure.

It seems so doesn't it. I can only assume in Melbourne they are quite anonymous. I don't think it is a coincidence they got pinged in a league town.

Link has been hidden. Please Register to view. a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

Ms Hura's shock death comes just seven months after she leaked revenge porn of Cartwright, who plays for the Penrith Panthers, and threatened to kill him.

She was charged with stalking and using a carriage service to menace, but charges were dismissed on mental health grounds.

In December it was revealed she posted photos of the footy star naked, with suggestions he "can't pleasure a girl".

The Daily Telegraph reported Cartwright had been in a relationship with Ms Hura for six years when the screenshots of explicit text messages and photos were exposed on social media.

"You think I'm laughing because I'm mentally f***ed up?" She said in a video posted last year.

"I'm not mentally f***ed up, I'm just laughing at you ... you're going to be dead soon.

"In the grave ... six feet under ... you don't even know what's coming at you.

"You can't even pleasure a girl ... all you have to do is throw money at them. Bro you're gone ... chick chick pew."

Tributes for Ms Hura have flooded social media. One friend said: "RIP Brinney Hura."
"Too soon and so young ... rest easy girl."

Her aunt, Lea Kelz Tiepa, also said she would keep people updated on funeral arrangements.

Paul Cramer, the lawyer who represented Ms Hura after the photos of Cartwright were leaked last year, told the Daily Mail: "It's absolutely devastating and shattering ... it's tragic."

Fake jersey sale behind the sacking of Gold Coast Titans forward Chris Grevsmuhl
Media has been hidden. Please Register to view.
AXED Titans forward Chris Grevsmuhl was let go by the club over accusations he sold a number of his Jerseys on Facebook but never sent the goods out to fans who had already paid.

The Titans has Link has been hidden. Please Register to view. that the former South Sydney and Penrith forward had been released by the club, but would not comment on the reasons why.

However, it is understood it was due to the fact the troubled Grevsmuhl — who only joined the Gold Coast in March — took payment from at least 10 fans for Jerseys that he never delivered.

In a message exchange obtained by The Courier-Mail, Grevsmuhl told one fan he needed the extra money to help pay for his wedding.

Media has been hidden. Please Register to view.
Chris Grevsmuhl played four matches for the Titans.
The Titans were then contacted by those who had been left out of pocket by the 24-year-old and have worked to pay back the fans from Grevsmuhl’s own salary.

But now they have released him from his two-year contract over the incident.

Grevsmuhl has battled a number of personal issues in the past, including depression, and it is understood the Titans are extremely concerned for his welfare.

The Gold Coast did everything they could for him and his health while he was at the club but agreed to the release with his management earlier this week.

Neither Titans CEO Graham Annesley nor Grevmuhl’s manager Col Davis would comment on the situation, but it is believed the once promising youngster will take another break from the game until his off-field issues are sorted.

A spokesman for the NRL said they would not be conducting their own investigations into the matter as they felt it had been appropriately dealt with by the Titans.

Grevsmuhl’s continued troubles are a worrying sign for someone who was once considered a future Origin player by Queensland coach Kevin Walters.

Grevsmuhl also spent time at the Panthers and Rabbitohs.
He was in Walters’ emerging squad in 2016 and was part of the group that were suspended for breaking curfew.

This is the second time this year the NRL has dealt with this kind of situation, after former Tiger Link has been hidden. Please Register to view. for charity, only to use the money for gambling.

It is understood Grevsmuhl’s matter is not a police issue.

Jayden Nikorima’s future in jeopardy amid allegations he has twice tested posited to illicit drugs
Media has been hidden. Please Register to view.
THE immediate future of Sydney Roosters star Jayden Nikorima is in jeopardy amid allegations he has twice tested positive to illicit drugs in the last 12 months.

Under NRL regulations the $350,00-a-year recruit from the Brisbane Broncos faces a 12-week ban, the same former Sharks star Ben Barba was hit with this time last year.

Nikorima is appealing the finding, claiming he has vital evidence that will clear his name.

The Roosters have been trying to off-load Nikorima to help them fit superstar signing Cooper Cronk for 2018.

Ironically, Cronk has signed with the Roosters in part to clean up the club’s culture and off-field dramas that have resulted in the sackings of Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Paul Carter.

The Roosters and the NRL are refusing to comment under the strict NRL and ASADA protocol.

Yeah, is anybody else suspicious about this besides me ?

The same week Roosters sign Cooper Cronk, this gets leaked to media about another one of their half backs ?

They seriously wouldn't do this to one of their players just so they can let him go and stay under salary cap would they ? They would ? Dude ... :sorry:
