Gus Gould has named these four teams who are still supposed to be under the salary cap:

That would mean, if he's correct, these clubs will be struggling:

Eels, Bulldogs, Bunnies, Cowboys, Storm, Titans, Sharks, Raiders, Sea Eagles & Roosters.

Given his criticism of clubs spending over the cap, the other club not to be is most likely the Panthers.

I would say Panthers, Cowboys have been mentioned, Broncos very likely. Probably easier to pick which clubs haven't blown the cap, so us, Tigers, Knights and Titans. The latter 2 clubs were recently under some form of adminstration from the NRL, Tigers lost their best and can only recruit Warriors, then us..

From the point where Brisbane were up 28-0 Blair has made a one-on-one try saving tackle and then at 38-0 up sprinted after a loose Broncos pass to make sure the Titans got no advantage.

Our guys can't even stop a rampaging plodder from 5m out when the game is still on the line.

he won't solve all our problems, but bugger if we're in a position to turn him down.

Unless everyone wants another year of Lillyman, Sao and Lisone?

Note : if you dont have anything related to warriors recruitment and rumours to post on this thread, dont. It will be deleted when in a good mood. Posters banned from posting further in this thread in a bad mood such as when the pathetic warriors lose to the likely 2017 wooden spooners.

This has been repeated numerous times on this thread and even on the first post, fucking highlighted for fucks sake. Dont waste our time or yours. And if you cant read, go and post on the fb groups than here.

    Many thanks.

Sorry about the large fonts, but they are for the retards who continually ignore these msgs.

we should try to grab players like Sitaleki Akouola Joe Tapine
give Roache & Luke 40min each....Roache is the better allround player..if kearney gives him a fair shot..Luke is past his best

    From the Mole....

    Come here Johnny...

The Roosters are still seething at losing the brilliant Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to the Warriors last year - now the Kiwi club is set to rub salt in the wounds.

The Warriors are talking to Roger's younger brother Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck - and may take him across the Tasman as well.

Media has been hidden. Please Register to view.
Johnny, aged 21, can play wing, centre and fullback and was a star for the Roosters at Holden Cup level in recent seasons.

He started this year training with the fulltime squad but has been unable to force his way into the star-studded Roosters backline and has been playing for feeder club Wyong in the NSW Cup.

The Roosters have no right to complain if we do take him. They gave Gordon an extra year, signed Tedesco, re-signed Ferguson.

Can't keep players in reserves just because it suits you if there's opportunity elsewhere.

I reckon Aiden Toleman would be a good recruit. He is a no fuss forward who appears to have some leadership qualities about him, also he plays big minutes.

That is the type of player the club requires.

I've been keen on him since he was last off contract tbh. He's a little small for our current pack though. We need some monsters.

This popped up on FB news feed just now on a page I follow, if there's any truth to it - Jonny Tuivasa-Sheck has signed with the New Zealand Warriors as of today. It is expected it's on a Two year deal. This will just add Fuel to the FIre between the Warriors and the Roosters'.

JTS is an upgrade to our wing stocks.

Now if only we could convert Maumalo into an edge backrower!

We needed a new winger anyway since we released Manu and I think JTS would be a really solid fit. He's been pretty good from what I've seen in reserves and wouldn't cost nearly as much as Manu did so we'd be keeping some money in the pocket.

He's been gaining popularity on his social media accounts though so hopefully that doesn't affect his football... might need to give one up if he really wants to do well with the other.

He's probably a replacement for Faraimo who's going to England at the end of the season and bridge between Soosemea & Nicol-Kolkstad.

There was an article posted somewhere a few days ago that had the same thing about it upsetting the Roosters. They are a tempremental bunch aren't they. They sign pretty much any star they can get their hands on, for years raid every other clubs developed talent and we sign one guy from there and it some how ignites a feud. Sure the guy we originally signed is a great talent, hard worker but he is entitled to sign somewhere else.

I haven't seen much of his JTS, hopefully he has the same work ethic as his older brother.

Sure he's not a frontrower but we still need depth throughout the squad so adding him to Harris, Pulu and hopefully Blair and another of Paulo, Tapine or Graham like was rumoured and we have a few players who could freshen up the squad.
