Why is it us fans can see the problems yet the clubs officials put there head up ther arses and think everything's
Ok. Obviously a bit of self interest there.
I'm amazed at all the bullshit they come out week after week trying to justify the piss weak performances.
If these guys were in a regular work situation and performed like they do they would been have sacked months ago.

Are there too many guys in the squad with mental health issues? Reaching the top requires a high level of sanity IMO.
This is what's wrong with the Warriors. They can't play defense....

    It's the defense. It's fucked.

Imagine a race car with no breaks. That's the Warriors atm... They crash on every single corner.

It's fucked. There I said it again...

They have the 4th worst offence.

    5th worst defense.

This is what's wrong with the Warriors. They cant play offence or defense!

Its the offence and defense. Its fucked.

Yes but they are top three in least missed tackles and top five in least errors. Top eight in total run meters.

Seems the appropriate thread to have my whinge within... sick to fucking death of players not having 'hands out front' when they're receiving - or even just pretending to receive - the ball. Leads to some handling errors, obviously, but it's indicative of a total lack of preparedness and awareness and alertness, and that trio is killing us. The same half-asleep mentality that stops players from having hands out shows through in a lot of our defensive lapses and virtually non-existant line speed.

I still want clarification about how much kava and sleeping pills etc these guys are hitting mid week. That would explain the massive form reversals we've seen repeating over the years. One game they show up sober and ready for action, and next weekend they are still waking up from a big session on the sleepy juice...

My philosophy on defense is that good defense creates opportunities to attack.

When Payton Manning lost to the Seatle Seahawks in the "Weed Bowl", [The game featured the league's top offense (Denver) against the league's top defense (Seattle).]

Manning had a record breaking offensive season that year. But when he faced the Seahawks defense he couldn't do anything. And a team with a much worse offense put 48 point on the Broncos...

I'm not saying you can have a crap attack, but having a strong defense is more important IMO. It's much harder work defending, so if you don't give it priority your team wont excel at it, you'll lose lots of winnable games and the clubs confidence will be shattered by all the negative criticism from the fans and media.

Protect yourself at all times is the no1 rule in boxing. Defend your line at all times is the no1 rule in League... Cause if you don't it's lights out.

Honestly though are we just shit at league because everyone plays union? our coffers are full of talent who will never see the black jersey, the ABs could field a 5th string team and compete

Don`t agree, we have kiwis playing for other teams in the NRL who don`t seem to have a problem preforming week in week out

The problem with this poll is it lacks a "all of the above" button at the bottom.
The club has major issues from the top to the bottom.
They say a fish rots from the head down. Take a bow EW.
Most of the players haven't been taught the basic skills properly.
Some of the passing is pathetic - defence is a mystery to most.
There is only one leader and he isn't captain.
Our star half doesn't talk to those around him. He is having a bad season yet is re-signed to a huge contract.
So what if we lost him, we might get the organizing half we need.
    The list goes on.
The sooner Jim buys the club and gets some footy experts in the better.

and they are the minority in those teams, here they are the majority.

How many Kiwis are the gritty, hardworking, backbone of a team (not spine)?
How many Kiwis are X-Factor guys who add spark and creativity and a little bit of magic?

There are a lot more of the second than the first category and that's the problem... our guys (nz developed) are in the vaaaaaast majority not workers they are not polished or fully rounded guys... they are 'special'.

A team of those won't win shit.

look at the guys our fans idolise... Mannering (worker) Luck (worker) Price (Worker) Campion (Worker)

It is because they are a rarity in this team/club.

What is wrong with this club?

A lunatic CEO. AUD$2.4 million for Adam Blair is just fecking nuts. That will come back to bite the club in three years time, mark my words.

The club has an unbalanced roster, they recruit sub-standard or inexperienced coaches, and there is no accountability for performance.

If people can take anything away from this season it is that Kearney is no different than the last 3 coaches and he may be worse because he didnt seem to realise this years performances on the field were no different than any other year, slow start, bit of a run through origin period then a capitulation. Everyone who is die hard in their support of Kearney is living off hope, there is no proof he is changing anything.. he hasnt dropped anyone to send a message or signed anyone who is going to have any impact.

Mate that goes right to the top, which is a problem in itself.
