Yup agreed if he is coming back which I’m not a fan of him playing seems like it’s time for him but if he did should only be near a backrow position.

If Roach and Luke are under injury clouds then Maniaia Cherrington should be next person up for the hooker before Brown.

Sam Cook has been thrown up as an option too.

I watched a video on their forum of Tof.

I can't imagine why he fell out of favor with our Coaches.

He's a smart fellow, a leader, patient with all the injuries and unselfish.

It is a Mystery to me why the Sipleys struggle for NZ recognition (Warriors).

I hope he makes absolute fools of this lot and becomes the Giant that his talent suggests he will.

I'm pretty sure I remember Kearney saying he was a very good runner of the football but wasn't good enough defensively?

Mmmmm...... the Broncos recruitment isn't always as successful as you might think.
How did the recruitment of Todd Lowrie from us work out for them?

This season their recruitment also includes Matthew Lodge (arrested and charged with assault in New York). Four of this seasons recruits have only two NRL games between them. All of their recruits have an average of only 31 NRL games and 41 FG games (if you want to include a journeyman forward signing from the ESL).

They've lost players with an average of 37 NRL games just for their club and an average of just under 100 NRL career games.

The Broncos signed Tagataese to a one year contract, not because he's that good but, because they were able to get a lot of experience cheaply.

They spent too much money buying in Jack Bird and upgrading existing contracts because they thought the salary cap was going to be a lot higher than what's been settled on. To complete their squad, they've had to go for players that they could get cheaply.

Ahhh actually I didn’t think about the middle lines from Mannering so maybe that was what Green was talking about when talking about the combination with both of them.

Warriors offered him more than what Manly did. Manly just offered him a clearer pathway. Its a shame as he was well in the mix for a bench spot this season.

Was rated by the club. Guess we just weren't rated enough by Tof...

As for the Omar Slaimankhel speculation, FUCK NO! The only person worse than Carlos Tuimavave in 2012 was Omar. He was just truly shocking. Didn't look anything like a first grader back then and the games I saw him play for the Wyong Roos hasn't changed my opinion on him. He 's now playing Ron Massey Cup which suggests he hasn't improved much since joining the Roosters.

Anyway, isn't he playing for the Tigers or Bulldogs second string feeder team???

he mentions ' falling out of the rotation ' at the Warriors.

    Probably best for both parties.

The Warriors can't afford to play young talent on form / at face value because the have to ' develop them with care and deliberation or they get big
    Heads and eventually burn out.

Players like Tof who probably believe they could be better than the guys they train with....might as well go test that.

Forget about just the Sea Eagles, If I had the choice of any player in the entire comp then I would be picking between Turbo and Taumalolo. Absolute gun, would trade RTS in a heart beat for him.

For a bit of a laugh here's younger brother Ben getting one up on jake while the bros have a round of golf with their manager.

Bit silly when he was coming back from injury. He would have had another run if not for that. I actually see him lower down the Manly order than he would have been here...

It may not be crazy that he would want to come back then. If manly need to offload players telling him that he isn’t in their first grade plans would likely make him want to move on. Especially if the warriors are offering better money and are dangling first grade in front of him.

I wouldn't be offering better money now if he wants to come back.
Offer him a little less then what manly gave him.
He had his chance to take the warrior coin but turned it down. Teach the kid the a lesson the grass isnt always greener on the other side.

Do you guys think the Warriors are smart enough to have scouts at the sevens?

Some great talent and a lot of them are paid very small salaries. The number 12 for PNG looks better than a lot of wingers the warriors have had recently and would be on almost nothing playing for them. Just as one example
