Was thinking the same thing. Surely we can find a quality winger in the bunch. Not many sevens players would be making anywhere near NRL minimum wage.

Caleb Clarke. Not a 7s player(I don't think so anyway)Is a Baby Black, And has good pedigree being Eroni Clarke's son. 189cm 107kg & is fast. Pretty good all round skills for quite a big boy.

    Good luck .
Yeahnah Caleb you don't want to be an all black come play for us
Yeah yeah your old man will be sweet with it .
I went to school with a couple of allblacks an a couple of super rugby players
An they knew what they wanted .Its a system .The right people round them .
We need our own heritage an league players .These guys will just leave us once
They can get a crack at the all blacks..its their dream ..good on them.

Perrett may have been born in Hamilton but unlike his older brother Sam, he is very much an Aussie, so doubt that he wants to return home’- home is GC. If he was to come here it would mainly be due to the fact that he could secure a 1st grade slot, not to mention the fact that Manly are under salary cap pressure.

Too early to make a comment about 2019. Hopefully, we can see massive improvements in our recruitment of
Junior players and their transition into potential first graders.

Too many of our alleged star junior players have crashed and burned.

I'm in Perth bro. I don't have foxtel, So all I see & hear about AB's is YouTube/NZ Herald lol. I watched highlights of the baby blacks and he looked the goods. Hence why I mentioned I wasn't sure.

Hes on big bucks till end of 2020. To alleviate the dogs salary cap pressure they woukd prob want a club to take over most of his salary. Not sure how we can afford that when the maestros with the chequebook paid up big already for aging average quality players for this year.

Poor old Tolman cops plenty on The Kennel. They rate him absolutely zero.

    Worth a look?

    FORWARD FOR SALE

Roosters forward Eloni Vunakece is free to seek an opportunity with rival NRL clubs.

Signed until the end of this season, the 30-year-old is unlikely to see much game time in the top grade this season.

With some exciting emerging talents ahead of the prop in the pecking order, the Fijian international is open to the idea of finding a new home.

Vunakece wants to play first grade and to do that, his best chance will be to join a new club.

A Leichhardt junior, Vunakece made his NRL debut in 2016 and has nine NRL games to his name.

FPN has pretty much been a waste of space over here in the UK. Most of the Wigan fans have wanted shut of him for a while (and that's with a pretty soft pack too)

There is only one player signing that would make a meaningful difference at this club and thats Cam Smith on the provision he coaches the team as well.

The only signing the club needs to worry about is head coach.

    Basically there are two options

Hasler- High risk high reward, could just as easily get us the spoon as get us the premiership in two years

Maguire- Would be my choice, you know what you are going to get and he will get the team heading in the right direction.

Our next coach has to have won an NRL Premiership as a coach. So those two you mentioned are basically the only viable options of those who are currently not coaching a team.

Michael Maguire would be a better fit in my opinion. Des has a great track record but I feel he would be too complicated / complex for our team / club.
