What happen to folau haha
If Johnson gets injured then we are in a lot of trouble. Our reserve grade quality backups dont cut it at NRL level.
Aggression and depth on attack are not part of the process.
Sh@t if Kearney goes that way, in last 12 months he has learned diddly squat !!
Surely not !!
Yep, think like Kearney.
If Ayshford doesn't make the cut are we looking at an all NZ team? Has that actually happened before?
No, I don't believe so.
2004 would have been the closest, that was a very kiwi heavy team, so long as you count Brent Webb (hey, he played for NZ!)
Aussies Richard Villasanti and Tony Martin played in most of the games, but not all of them, so might have got an all kiwi side out their at some point.
2003 similar, but PJ Marsh and Tookey added to the 'strayan contingent.
I was thinking the same thing.
Then I realized half of them are Tongans now.
Almost mentioned that but didn’t want to reopen that wound lol
And what a success that was....
yeah, was shit, but it was pretty much the same team as the year before (minus Ali Lautititi) who were good.
Vete if still around.
Vete will be around. Blair, Paasi, Harris, Pulu are replacing Matulino, Lillyman, Hoffman, Thompson, we don't have any more depth than we did this year.
Lisone gives me the shits I’ve decided.
He’s got ability and usually shows effort, but he’s like the mascot for the immaturity and lack of improvement that happens at the warriors.
But got no one to put ahead of him.
Going off Kearney last year. He may only have to play 5 minutes.
Don't forget - we've got an Irishman too.
Irish legend Isaac O'Luke?
And the Scottish man James Bell
Does The signing of Pasi mean we will play Blair at lock ?
I think we have done some good forward recruitment ,
It's definitely a different pack ,
14 Pulu/Vete/Lisone/someone New?
So we have got rid of everyone except Mannering an Gavet
pretty much what everybody said needed to happen ,So it's definitely
going to be a different forward pack ,
The back line should be a lot more structured ,But it all comes
back to the forwards going forward or nothing will come right.
The backrow will be solid in terms of defence, Abit worried about the forward rotation at the moment but pulu and paasi bring a freshness of energy that i havent seen in this pack in a while, bench forwards are going to be key, can we get another good signing or is there someone in the reserves that can clearly put Vete, Lisone and Sao back where they should be which is in reserves.
To be honest I question whether they even belong there, especially Vete and Lisone. An amazing amount of natural ability they just don't show it enough. Do we need that in ISP as well?
