Sad to hear. Just heard it on 360
PLayed during the time i really got into the NRL. Always a shock when any of this generation pass on.
Big strong powerful centre is what i remember. Real...
Done better than me, I struggled to get past Children of Dune.....felt like i was reading an Ecology lesson.
Any Robin Hobb readers? The Farseer Series is one i tend to gravitate back to. Fitz the bastard is such a tragic character,
I still think we're still short one more middle, a big bodied one at that.
Even before the JFH signing most felt we were rolling the dice somewhat not having back up if Addin went down, JFH signing hasnt changed that. Someone like a Tof Sipley in the rotation wouldve been ideal.
Then again...
1. Agreed. Once they got on a roll either through dominant early carries or on the back of a penalty they we're rolling up the field with ease.....we didnt seem to have the energy to meet them. Successive hard fought games finally catching up with us but i thought also not using a full quota of...
Agreed. "Pompey for RTS", "Pompey for Montoya", "need a speedster on that wing"......wont make an iota of difference 1, if their not going that way and 2 if there;s no shape or space created when they do.
Ive no problems with us being a right side dominated attack, we should be, clearly thats...
Tbh im not sure why Roger seems to be bearing the brunt for the lack of link play on the left.
Got to look at how he's receiving the ball. My initial concern with Roger at centre was he would only get the ball from either hit ups, or they would throw it to him when nothing else was on......and...
Isnt that pretty much the case every week tho?
The boys just didnt look like they wanted to stay in the fight after the first 20......Dragons started to get on an early roll through either a penalty or one of those big bodies getting them on the front foot,,,,,just couldnt stop them through the...
Oh and Sean Osullivan for Cogger.....boom!
Tbh tho the fact that u can just find replacement after replacement NRL quality ex Penrith players is a testament to their systems
SJ probably does need to release the reigns from time to time but also TMM needs to take ownership of that edge and start demanding the ball. He also needs to look at the shape their throwing up that edge, cause atm there is none.
I know Metcalf was criticized for not being able to unlock that...
I know every club could probably do the same but nowhere near this quality. Just from their homegrown players who have or are about to move on
1. Stephen Crichton
2, Dallin Watene Zelezniak
3, Matt Burton
4. Paul Momirovski
5, Charlie Staines
6. Jarome Luai
7. Jack Cogger
8. Regan...
Gotta say edge backrower was the one area i was concerned going into the season as (and taking nothing away from Ford who's a whole hearted effort player) both Ford and Capewell arent naturally attacking backrowers. Certainly dont run the same lines or as threatning as Niukore and Curran were...
As far as targetting our playmakers (SJ and Egan)well thats an age old ploy to try and take some gas out of their tanks. SJ 29 tackles to Ben Hiunts 8......gotta say they did that effectively
Yeah think they obviously did their homework on our shifts with our multiple lead runners. Most...
Did Webby just get outcoached there?
Take the learnings then flush and forget it.
If any team can get our mojo back its the Titans! Bring em on
Congrats Dragons, too good tonight
