The thing is Frank, the cuts aren't targeted. They're damaging to the extreme. There's no thought, it's neoliberal slashing at it's worst.
The rights predictable responsible to the lefts usual inflating of the public service. And the dance of the two party system continues

I’m not convinced it is my imagination but isn’t retail crime beginning to rise again and be more brazen and aggressive?

Didn’t the last opposition criticise the Govt for the retail crime that was happening on their watch?

Didn’t the Nats and Act campaign on stopping retail crime?

Perhaps they now realise that such crimes are difficult if not impossible to stem.

Perhaps the public now understand that rhetoric in opposition doesn’t translate to success when in Govt.

Was at Mercer on the weekend and masses of patched gang members drinking at muddy waters, police presence but certainly not enforcing removal of patches as previously campaigned on. Don’t think the police have any intention of enforcing this when they can’t even receive an adequate pay rise

They wont stop until store workers are armed can shot the thieves. A few dead thieves on the floor, nobody moaning about it and it would fade away.

Bishop was on the radio this morning giving credit to National for the number of First Home Buyers entering the market. The truth is, government's rarely are able to affect the housing markets.... they go in cycles and now happens to be the right time in the cycle for FHB's to enter the market with interest rates about to drop and house values are slowly creeping up. Nothing to do with the new governments policies and everything to do with the part of the housing cycle we're currently in.

I’ll be honest guys, politics has bored me lately. We’re in the ‘getting on and doing it’ part of the election cycle where everything that’s happening was announced before the election.

No new policy. Just continually rehashing what was already voted for with a mandate at the election. 🥱
