Roger played 1 game at centre, then again in the second game, became a goat against the storm in the second half

3rd game went to FB halfway, 4th at FB, 5th at wing, now 6th game at centre

To be fair he’s had 3 games at centre, give him 10 and see how he goes. He just had his 200th and 201st occasions.

People really want Pompey over RTS? Imagine the Sea Eagles forum seeing us crying for RTS to be dropped 🤣
I almost feel like RTS needs to pull back on the amount of one out hit ups he is doing and relax. Count some numbers and look for some attacking opportunities. Just looks like a guy trying to prove he should be centre instead of just playing.

Epic moment of the game, Dallin's intercept. It's glorious every time.
Run Dallin, run like a stallion with the wind in your majestic locks! Nothing gets me as excited as a DWZ intercept.

The wife got sick of my shouting and left with a caustic "Fuksake you get more animated about Dallin than you do on date night. And I better not wake up to a roomful of tissues again."

DZW scores in the corner

I was thinking good consolation try to help the F&A record

Didn’t expect SJ to convert but he does

47 seconds left….

Nah no chance

Last tackle - 0 seconds left on the clock

SJ for the drop kick and penalty….

Bloody hell - couldn’t have script it better

22-22

Had we taken the drop kick opportunity and won - this would have been one of the greatest comebacks in Warriors history ..

Unfortunately it wasn’t to be…

Setting up left of the post for a right foot kicker seems such a simple task.

But for some reason we see teams fail to do it time and time again in GP.

Guess it's a fatigue factor thing.

Frustrating, could be sitting in 3rd.

And while I am ranting

What’s up with Tohu’s hair man??…

We've now gone an entire month without being defeated. That's still pretty solid- I believe we are the first team to be undefeated over a 4 week period. Gotta move on and reload now for dragons and titans. Nonetheless I think any neutral observer seeing this game would view this as a clash of genuine top 4 contenders. Both teams are going to be feared by the rest of the competition moving forward.

1) We always seem to bottle it at home and play with more composure on the road
2) CHT would have made a better stand off than TMM tonight with his kicking game on a wet evening
3) Tom Ale with an inexperienced error giving away a penalty on the 5th tackle. What disturbed me about it is that he is a role player and there should have been a discussion with him and the other role players just to do their job and not attempt to make plays.
4) Josh A should have been sin binned for his hit on Shaun the kicker. That could have shattered Shaun's leg. The Kicker needs to be protected. I hope the judiciary bans him for several weeks.
5) I don't think this point will help us too much unless we get another draw later in the year.
6) So many errors by us. Didn't deserve to win as others noted.
That point is like a bonus point, will be very important at the end of the year. Unless there is another draw Manly and ourselves will be "alone" on the points table and it negates points differential.

I get your sentiments but this might be our best opportunity to win a championship with Addin and possibly Johnson not part of the roster next year. I think most people on this website are fans of the wahs but might see things differently. I definitely think all the exposure we were getting may have inflated my optimism as many staunch critics were jumping on board. This game highlighted to me that we still have many errors that need to be ironed out before we are going to be a serious threat. In games like this it might not matter so much but in the pressure cooker situations one error could cost us big time. Ford despite running good lines and playing quite well has on average got at least one mistake or a drop ball per game. Roger is not too far behind. I remember Dallin having similar issues a couple of years ago and whatever he did to remove this from his game worked a treat. I think they both offer something particularly Roger it just kills momentum and puts us under pressure.

One thing I will say is this. If you're at the grounds, watching the game....

Don't leave early....
Yeah there was a large contingent who started the walk and then stood on the stairs watching the end.
